Spherical Engineering Limited provides extensive experience in design and engineering management services for the construction industry, delivering projects for or on behalf of the Client, Principal Contractor, Developer, and the Design Consultant.
This has given Spherical Engineering a unique understanding of the various priorities, importance’s and challenges faced by the contractor when running a project.
Formed in May of 2019, Spherical Engineering has to date been utilised on numerous Railway Infrastructure contracts for both Principal Contractors and Outside Parties providing Contractors Engineering Manager and Principal Designer services.
A notable case study is the Network Rail Kings Cross Remodelling Project, considered to be one of the counties major station and infrastructure upgrade schemes of the decade.
Spherical Engineering can manage multiple projects and associated design consultancies, clients, and subcontractors simultaneously. By developing effective working relationships, paying attention to detail and constantly challenging performance, Spherical Engineering will accomplish the correct delivery solution, on time and on budget.

Network Rail completed its remodelling of the approaches to London King’s Cross station as part of its £1·2bn East Coast Main Line upgrading programme.
Track Replacement
Replacement of more than 6 km of plain track and the laying of 30 new turnouts.
Overhead Line Electrification
20 km of new overhead lines and 50 signals controlled from York Regional Operating Centre.
